At the first round of the @uci_mtbworldseries Cross Country World Cup, Team Jumbo-Visma pro rider Milan Vader's Cervélo ZFS-5 was the talk of the pits thanks to its unorthodox setup. Behind the headlines - and that unique aluminium strut - Milan's personal tale of how he came back from a near-fatal injury to take to the start-line at Nové Město was a major story itself. Rich sat down with Milan to find out how just 12 months on from being in an induced coma with a spine fractured in 11 places, he was back competing at the sharp end of international XC racing.
