The modern hardcore hardtail is an incredibly capable steed, but can it really be as fast as a full suspension super bike? To find out, we pitted Nukeproof pro enduro racer Elliott Heap against amateur rider and GMBN crew member Ed Fletcher for a classic downhill race on Dyfi Bike Park's Race Track. As the age-old question goes, is it the bike or the rider? Prepare for huge jumps, a crash and some gnarly steep tech!
