Keegan Swenson wins Leadville Trail 100
Reigning US cross country champion Keegan Swenson came within two minutes of a course record on his way to victory at the Leadville Trail 100 on Saturday, finishing in 6:00:01.
Swenson finished 14 minutes ahead of John Gaston of Aspen, Colorado and Rio Olympian Howard Grotts finished third, another minute behind.
The course record stands at 5:58:35, set by Alban Lakata in 2015.
